You don’t get to choose what to be present for and when to disappear. You stick around for the entire ride. If you choose the former, then bugger off. I don’t want people like that in my life. I have no time for cameos and guest appearances.
If there’s one thing I detest in a person who claims to be close, it’s how they choose to get involved when it’s convenient to them.
DON’T bug me if you’re gonna choose a time and place to butt your big ass head in. Be around for every damn thing. If not, stop claiming to be close and don’t you dare exert authority or express worry in my well-being. I do not look at it fondly. And rest assured that I’ve already found your replacement.
